NATIONAL WATERCOLOR SOCIETY

The NWS 2026 Volunteer Exhibition

The National Watercolor Society is an all-volunteer organization, and for more than 106 years, dedicated volunteers have been the heart of everything we accomplish. Through their time, talent, and generosity, they have built and sustained one of the world's premier watermedia organizations, creating opportunities for artists to learn, exhibit, and inspire others.

While many volunteers are recognized in this video, countless others quietly contribute throughout the year. From our exhibition team, gallery sitters, editors, online gallery volunteers, Permanent Collection Committee, Jurors of Selection Committee, and many others, every contribution—large and small—helps strengthen our Society and support artists around the world.

The future of the National Watercolor Society is shaped by volunteers who believe in the power of watermedia and the importance of community. Together, we continue to inspire, educate, and advance the art of watermedia for generations to come.

To every volunteer who has shared your time, talents, and enthusiasm—thank  you. Your dedication is the brushstroke behind every success we celebrate.
