About the Juror: Marciano Martinez
"I find it very difficult to choose among so many wonderful subjects, and put together a balanced show. My choices show my desire to find some of those paintings that hint at the quest we all experience, a quest to become our own muses, and find our creative, free thinking, fresh child within. This is an important part of our artistic growth, a unique part of us that we can share with the world around us, reflecting it back as it reflects us, each in its turn. Some of those reflections are photo-real in style, others abstract, or non objective and each style has strength and substance. As an art professor, it has been my joy to work with many other artists, and my goal has always been to assist each person in finding what is unique about their own artistic voice. I have sincerely tried to include a wide range of unique personal perspectives on the world, as I feel sure that each artist represented here has something very special to share."
