NWS Purchase Award87th Annual Exhibition

October 14 – December 9, 2007

City of Brea Gallery, Brea, CA 92821

The 87th Annual Exhibition was a spectacular show! With almost 1200 entries from every state and several foreign countries, one hundred paintings were selected to represent the finest of this year’s watercolors. Hats off to Thomas Ciganko, Gallery Director for the City of Brea Gallery, who worked with our Exhibition Director, Nancy Falciani, to produce an outstanding Exhibition. [More details and images]

Credit Where Credit is Due...

“A show does not just happen. People have to receive slides, then paintings from all over the world. People have to do the paperwork and support the jurors throughout the process. People have to work with the venue, produce a prospectus, an announcement and a catalog. All of us need to thank these folks who are dedicated supporters of the National Watercolor Society!” – Chris Van Winkle, NWS President
